Day 8, 26062008, Los Angeles

Ivan managed to 'rent' a car from his friend who was going to Grand Canyon for the weekend and didn't need the car. So we got a car till the following Monday for a minimal sum.

Ivan drove 'cos he's the only active driver.

A view of Westwood Village. The buildings in Westwood Village look like this.

The three girls at the back.

I'm already used to the non-existence of one cents in Singapore, but pennies still exist here. Sometimes I'm just too lazy to find the coins I'll just give the cashier bills and receive change in coins.

That was when my wallet became fatter and fatter with all the coins (and no bills) and there were just too many pennies. So I put them in a pouch and that became my penny pouch! Life has been easier ever since.

See the number of pennies I had

We went to shop nearby at a mall called Westwood Pavilion.

Got this tee for USD 12.

And the berms for USD 21.60.

Both are sale items already! I think they're still worth the buy, 'cos the berms would've cost me nearly USD40 usually.

More plans up since we've got a car.
